I can feel the heat coming on. That be the intense Wuxi, China heat that becomes very unbearable in Summer. The past few days, I have been going about in a stupor, as have some of the students I have noticed. At the pub yesterday, patrons were wearing their shorts for the first time this year.
I went to a pub for a hour or so last night. I played a game of the pool for the first time in months. It just so happened that I was matched up against the owner of the pub who is a pool shark. I was expecting to get skunked, but I played alright. I still didn't win but I sunk a few balls and my break wasn't embarrassing. I did have some agonizing misses but still it beat absolute humiliation.
I think I must play some more.
