I heard about Bhutto's assassination through a blog and then watched Fox News on the TVU player for updates. Here is a list of links I had prepared previously:
- The Economist talks about China hosting the 2008 Olympics. I used to read the Economist a lot. It has declined in the past few years.
- An intelligent posting about the perils of Universal Health Care. China is the only country I have ever been to that has a user pay system. It has worked fine when I used it. However, sanitary conditions leave lots to be desired. China has to have a user pay system because it does not have the resources to even think of adopting Universal Health Care. The Chinese have smartened up enough to realize that Central Planning was a disaster for the Economy. They have probably realized the same thing about Health Care.
- Romantic Landscape Painting.
- Mug Shots of Arrestees with Goofy T-Shirts
- Britain's Lost Cities: a story of town planners gone mad. I wonder who is planning Wuxi.
- Maps and Chaps
- The official site of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea
- Libel Tourism comes to Canada
- Will Smith and Adolf Hitler
- Descartes for Breakfast
