One of my favorite blogs of late, Eternity Road, has made two recent posting about China.
In this entry, I learn about the current mayor of New York City making a visit to China. Mayor Blomberg, who is rumored to be thinking of running for president in 2008 (making him the second NYC mayor to do so) went to China and complained about American Xenophobia. A funny thing to do as Eternity Road points out.
In another entry, mention is made of a Chinese university student quitting after winning the lottery. Lotteries are a tax on the stupid. They are not are much needed revenue source for government. I think it is sad that it has to be so.
