I am not affected – being on vacation – but others I know in the Wuxi/Shanghai area have been told to stay home from work on account of a typhoon emergency.
But the typhoon has seemed lame. It has been wet but never has the rain been heavy or the wind strong.
It seems like an over reaction if you ask me.
One person I know who got a day off from his school ended up going a slick restaurant for a buffet dinner.
