I was watching game one of the playoff series between the Las Vegas Knights (aka Army of the Dead because of the recent movie) and the Montreal Canadiens on Chinese Television.
The Chinese announcers referred to the Canadiens as 家那大人 （Jia Na Da Ren) which is basically Chinese for Canadian.
I don't think that is right. I would, if I was Chinese, call them 法裔加拿大人 （Fa Yi Jia Na Da Den) which translate French Canadian Nationality People.
It seems the Canadiens are being misgendered!
