It’s a lovely Autumn Saturday Morning here in Jiangyin , Jiangsu, China.
It’s November 18th which is Latvian Independence Day. Latvia is an almost fully independent country. It is independent of Russia and the Soviet Union. If only it could be independent of the EU and NATO as well. But Latvia is a small country, not capable of defending itself and beholden to other powers.
Latvia has had some great results in team sports this year: fifth in the world basketball and third in the world ice hockey.
It is Autumn in Jiangyin as I type this. I have a colleague from Ghana who claims it is winter.
Today, I got to deal with Tony’s poor school grades.
