Rainy Days
The day after completing my Jiangyin move, it now seems I was fortunate to get the move done. Today, it’s a depressingly rainy day. Not a day for moving. You need to carry an umbrella and skirt puddles.
The drainage here in Wuxishire is awful.
Last night, the thunder was something else. A few times it was accompanied by a crackling one could almost feel. Our fuse box had to be reset at a certain point in the night.
Driving back from Jiangyin, a part of the road was restricted to one lane, by pylons, because the other lanes were then running under a lake.
