I never heard of the guy till the Twitter spat involving him, RFK Jr., and Joe Rogan.
It seems cowardly to me that Hotez won’t take up Rogan’s offer to debate RFK. The defense of his refusal amounts to Hotez being too high and mighty; and at the same time being too much of a victim to even consider lowering himself to debate someone who represents a grave problem.
I have just listened to a podcast interview with Hotez. His position on Covid vaccines is that they are wonderful and save lives; and that those who disagree are far right. Not helpful. He even took a condescending tack saying that he wasn’t trying to change people’s far right views but they were wrong about vaccines. Not a likable fellow is this Hotez.
