I am Canadian. I have lived in Wuxi, China since September 2004. I teach English. In this blog, I recount the things I have seen and the experiences I have had here in Wuxi. I also make comments on things that strike my reactionary fancy.

I assume the heat in Wuxi caused the water to turn green? It kind of looks like the Chicago River on St. Patrick's Day. Is Gambay's Pub far from this canal?

The fictional Gambay's is closer to Baoli Mall.
This happens every summer. I have heard many a story of foreigners stepping on the green thinking it is pavement.
