It rained this afternoon when we drove to Wanda Plaza to have lunch with Jenny.
When having lunch, in a private room close to where we were eating, we saw that a birthday lunch was being held. We heard the people at the table singing “祝你生日快乐!”. I even tried to sing along knowing the words. The group then sang in Happy Birthday in English. I shouldn’t have gone to the table to wish the gentleman happy birthday.
I thought to join some colleagues of mine who were shopping at the nearby outlet mall, but weariness overcame me.
Besides weariness of shopping, I have to admit I’m weary of election talk. I’m very glad that Trump won but the gloating and losers hysteria is wearisome as well. I need to find something else to occupy myself.
