I showed the meme below to my students.
A lot of them didn’t understand that it was a metaphor for posting on social media. I had to use the Chinese for WeChat moments (微信朋友圈）to explain it.
I got a response from a Canadian Trump Hater whose videos had been appearing on my WeChat channels page. He was spouting the usual nonsense about Trump being a convicted rapist and felon. His response to pushback from people who know the specifics of the case and know the charges were bullshit was to scoff. He called me Kilroy or something.
Youtube blocked some of my videos for copyright violations. This apparently licensed music (I thought it was unlicensed) can’t be used in videos over 59 seconds long.
