From Wuxi to….
Jiangyin.
While in Wuxi, I took this photo from the building containing my wife’s office.
Meanwhile in Brandon, Manitoba, Canada:
Raymond Pero’s DWD event.
Meanwhile on WeChat Channels, I get this Canadian living in Thailand making political commentary. He is a serious sufferer of Trump Derangement Syndrome who sneers about Americans while thinking at the same time that their election system and justice system is all above board when it punishes people he doesn’t like.
The latest video I saw from him, he wished aloud that the extreme left and extreme right would go away. He carped on the extreme left for their transgenderism and carped on the extreme right for their doubting the 2020 election results. They surely can’t believe the election was stolen he said. He then ranted about Alec Jones and seemed to enjoy the extreme judgement brought upon him….
I made a comment that he was a lefty trying to have it both ways by pretending to be a middle of the roader and was not to be trusted. I should have went on about his fuzzy thinking. Just what exactly did he mean by extreme views? Anything he happened to disagree with? His joy at the punishment against Alec Jones seemed to indicate that he didn’t mind the state punishing views he deemed extreme. Truth is that he really seems to want a narrowing of the discourse. I say viva the freaks, viva the different, viva the quirky views, viva the eccentric, viva the geniuses, no matter how extreme they may be in their views.
The other problem with his thinking was his framing using the left and right. I like to frame it terms of good versus evil; nationalism versus globalism, truth versus lies, the bureaucracy versus the average man, religion versus atheism, concrete versus fuzziness, and so on.
