I think I’ll employ golf terms to describe my Wordle results from now on.
One guess I’ll call a hole-in-one.
Two guesses is an eagle. I have had seven eagles so far in 2023.
Three guesses is a birdie. So far in 2023, 35 birdies.
Four guesses is par. I have parred 56 times this year.
Five guesses is a bogey. 31 bogeys this year, alas.
Six guesses is a double bogey. 11 double bogeys, I am ashamed to say,
Six wrong guesses is an embarrassing failure. One or two of those this year.
