9:15 AM View: Jets Blues
Can’t upload a photo at the moment. The view is from WJ,
Winnipeg Jets will play St. Louis Blues in game five of their Stanley Cup Playoff Series. Winnipeg is the home team. The series is tied at two games a piece.
My spidy senses tell me that the Blues will win this game, The Blues have been the superior team. The Jets were fortunate to win the two games they did. But I hope I’m wrong.

9:09 PM Wednesday View: Hot Maxx
I’ll post some photos from the evening.
The first is of a poster in a restaurant.
It wants you to get rich.
We then went to Hot Maxx to buy drinks and snacks for our trip to Shanghai.
Walking home, we went along a lane in the car part park near our WJ apartment.
Finally, a view from our 27th floor lobby.
6:50 PM Wednesday: Eats again! Geez!
Unbelievable!
The first restaurant we had to leave. We ordered our food and waited for 25 minutes. We got impatient and were told we would have to wait longer yet. So, we left. Hope the place we are in now will serve us quicker.
Apparently, some big group ordered 40 dishes and were bogging down the whole operation.
3:39 PM Wednesday View: WJ
Drove to WJ from JJ. It was fun to see a Chinese driver rear end another Chinese driver at a red light. The funny thing was that both had missed the red light and then came to sudden stops in the intersection. I mock honked them as I drove past.

I had a — now rare for me — 7:20 class. Half the “learners” fell asleep.
I showed them Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. A good movie which probably most of them didn’t understand, even with subtitles.
At least, my son Tony thought it was funny.

Reflecting that it was good that Pierre Poilievre, aka French Mitt Romney, lost his seat.
7:56 PM Tuesday View: Reading Time
Took an evening walk. I was going to say “Took my evening walk” but I don’t think I have taken enough evening walks to call it a habit of mine.
I am going to do my reading though. A good habit. However, I had my normal dispiriting day. A habit as well

I waiting for my son Tony to come home for supper. I had mine. Blogging of which, sometimes a sandwich is all I need for supper. I don’t need to eat so much because iI ain’t do much eating and working and pooping then.

4:15 PM Tuesday View: Election interest in China?
One student knew about the Canadian election. He told he wanted the Conservatives to win because he didn’t like the LBGQT stuff. The other students had no idea.
Among the teachers, I suspect they weren’t aware of it: I being the only teacher from Canada. The only foreigner to ask me about the election was from Georgia, USA. He was hoping Poilievre would win.

6:41 AM Tuesday View: Prediction?
What’s my prediction for the Canadian election? I really don’t know. I’m far away in China. And even if I was in Canada, I’d be far away from everywhere else. Listening to the live feed from Shawn Newman, I’ve heard predictions that are all over the map like the Canadian election will be a Conservative victory with the voters refusing to be Kamalaed as the Americans recently weren’t to predictions of a Liberal victory

3:47 PM Monday View: Bread shopping bonanza
An afternoon where I had not a thing to do, I made into an afternoon of things getting done!
I took a Didi to downtown JJ to buy some bread at 85 degree bakery.
From the 85 bakery, I walked to Zhongshan Park
There’s a metro station near the park
Paying for it using my Wuxi metro card, I took the S1 to one stop beyond the Jiangyin Train Station.
Nanzi was not busy. I walked around the station and one of the staff wondered what I was doing. I didn’t know the Chinese word for explore. He was curious to know I was from Canada.
I took the next S1 train going to the Jiangyin Train Station.
.i took a selfie with the Xiu Xia Ke statue.
It really wasn’t worth my while to explore the station. I did come across a bus station and using my Apple Maps app, I was able to take the bus back to the JJ apartment.
The bus ride only cost me one yuan!
