Early lunch.

People with TDS say they laugh at the people who say they have TDS.  TDS people know that Trump is bad.  Do they actually counter the arguments that their hate in unreasonable?

The insolence of teenagers.  Perfectly natural.

I hope I can end up as a kindly old man with reactionary opinions.

During exams where I’m present proctoring or monitoring or invigilating, I’ll recite the rosary to pass the time.

Seems my only purpose in life it to produce content that no one looks at.

I’ll be ending the AKICDV series at 365.   Then, I’ll just be labeling my videos as AKICs.

If I quit, what would I do?  I would enjoy the initial feeling of freedom and chains unshackled, but then what? Regret ?

Dodgers won!  Oh well.  It’s not like the Expos won which would really be something.

It would make sense if Trump won, which is the only reason one could say that he would lose.  A large portion of the US voting public is dumb, Kamala Harris dumb at that.

I won’t be very busy the next few weeks. Next week is mid-term week.

We’ll be going to Wuxi this weekend which means I’ll miss church and chocolate muffins.

 Is it going to rain this aft?

Some days, you’re fit to be tied.  For me, it is everyday, but some days more than others.  Today is more than others.  I won’t elaborate.

This morning, I didn’t have a class till 11:00, and it was a 30 minute class at that.

Trump is not Hitler; in fact, his detractors are the Hitler-like. (Not ashamed of having this opinion.). The MSG rally Trump held being compared to a Hitler Rally because the American Bund held a rally at a MSG in 1939 or whenever has to be one of the most illogical and stupid pieces of political rhetoric I have ever heard.  How can anyone be associated with a political faction that is that vapid?  It shows they’ve got nothing tangible to offer to voters.

Always going somewhere and then having to turn around because I forgot something.  Sometimes, I forget to bring my key with me. Other times, I forgot toilet paper.  Still other times, I forget my earbuds or my hat.  And even better, or worse, I forget my purpose.

What’s chewing at my craw now:  that woman in the shop saying I didn’t understand Chinese; those blockings; and my not having much to do.

 Things I got to do to keep myself busy.  I won’t elaborate.

I hope I haven’t been mixing up my AMs and PMs too much in the blog entry titles.  I just noticed a mistake — now corrected in the previous one.

I watched the 1950 movie Rashomon.  The students will create and perform a modern adaptation of it for the Winter Show.

I went to the small shop to buy some things.  There was a woman in the shop who brought two bulldog-faced dogs with her.  In Chinese she said “There is a foreign teacher.  He doesn’t understand Chinese!”  I didn’t respond.  There are locals, who will talk about a foreigner in their presence and assume the foreigner doesn’t understand.  Every culture has its rude people.

 This morning, two annoying classes with grade 12s.  They don’t care.  I try to engage but they spend their evenings staying up late playing video games.

I was able to get them to make US election predictions.  They think Trump will win; they say they want him to win.

I spent some time watching Akira Kurosawa’s Rashomon.  Good movie so far.

 Lots of fruit for breakfast this morning.  We bought a lot of bananas and grapes yesterday.

It’ll all be downed with a cup of coffee.

On X and WeChat, I’ve seen predictions of big wins for Harris and big wins for Trump.  One tweet said talk of Trump winning was merely talk to get Magas riled up when Harris wins big.

The claims that Trump will win seem more logical because Harris is, as the Z man said, beauty pageant queen stupid, the Trump is Hitler talk seems like flailing, and Trump’s campaign appearances have been genius.

I don’t want to see the Trump era come to an end next week.  Trump has shown himself to be a great man; his opponents have besmirched themselves.

A student is writing a play based on the movie Rashomon,  Awesome!  It gives me an excuse to finally watch this movie.

 This afternoon.  A class where nothing much got done.

I drove to Heng Long.  They didn’t have the Tsingtao White Beer I like which  practically made it a waste of time.

Over a week till the U.S. election.  Trump better win!

Eventful Morning.

Took this photo as I arrived at work.

Grade 12s had Chemistry Retakes.  So I took it easy on some of mine who did.

Showed the official video of Prince’s Raspberry Video to the Grade 12s.  Some thought it was cool; one thought it was “tang”, whatever that meant.

Briefly monitored a grade 10 unit test.  The grade 10s were friendly.  One student was named Sunday.  “The day not the sweet ice cream dish?” I asked.

I met one of my few past NJHS students that I liked and I completely forgot her name.  It was Joey, I later figured out.  Aaaaaaaaaah!!

I have one class with my annoying grade 12s this aft.

 I usually post the view blog entry after I post the photo.

Well, not today.  I took the above photo just before I made myself supper.  Over an hour later, the entry.

I like to change my habits because sometimes they trap me and cause me to be hasty and over-anxious.

I forgot to check on the kitten & box when I came back from work. (See previous entry)

The grade 12 kids at my school aren’t to be trusted.  One kid was carrying a pencil case so he could conceal he had a mobile phone which he was playing a game inside.  What I mean is he was using the pencil case to hide the fact that he was a playing a mobile phone game.   The phone was in the pencil case. I could only keep my good humor.  It explains why our school has trouble with students being caught cheating on their CAIE exams.
