2:32 PM View: Q&A Walky Walk

How you (AKIC) now?  I’m sweaty.

Pourquoi?  Because I walked to the Wanda Mall and back. I was overdressed by the time I got back here.

Why did you walk to the WM and back?  For the walk, to take photos, to get my glazes fixed, to buy hamburger buns, to buy stuff at Hot Maxx and maybe buy bread and bagels.

Didn’t you drive your wife to WM?  Why did you walk there?  Yes, I did, but parking costs money. So, I drove back to here and walked back for the reasons already stated.

Did you accomplish your intentions at WM?  Almost all. I decided not to buy bagels and bread.

Further things to say about your WM Odyssey?  I got my reading glasses fixed in two minutes.  It was simply a case of putting a screw back into a hinge.  I bought white beer in an orange can at Hot Maxx.  I changed my mind about buying bread and bagels because I was able to find hamburger buns.

Did you take photos?  Will you put them in this entry?  Yes, I did.  Thanks for asking.

Will you provide commentary with the photos?  Sure, for you, I will do anything!

The above is what I see first when I embark on my Odysseys to the down below from the 27th floor.

I then saw this on my way to WM:

I should have taken more photos but I was engrossed in a podcast to which I  was listening.

At the WM supermarket, I took these photos;

On these shelves, there is liquor.  You can’t find this in Manitoba supermarkets.

I took these photos bulk of my Odyssey photos on the return.

Lots of e-bikes!

I walked down a side street to take photos

Then I made a right turn:

These businesses are located just outside an apartment community.

I crossed the road:

Fences needed because the locals being impatient will drive into opposing traffic.

Then, I took these two photos.

Was there anything for which you didn’t take a photo?  There were three chickens in a cage.  I wanted to take photos of them but there were people nearby.  I felt uncomfortable at the thought of taking photos of people’s chickens while they were around.  I assumed the chickens were going to be slaughtered cooked in a feast this evening.
