My silence is deafening.

I posted a joke video.  I wonder if it’ll get lots of views and be viral…. So many times have I thought that…

I really don’t have much to do at work today.   I was expecting my grade 12s.  There had been a schedule change posted which I thought was a mistake…. Two less classes to do.  I could have spent the morning at home.

So I read Milosz:  Facing Too Large an Expanse.  Brilliant opening.  My initial reaction to it is I don’t cling to others in the proper way.  My pride prevents me even though it pains me to the core to do so.  That was my personal take on the story which is tangent on Milosz’s theme which is man’s insignificance in the expanse of nature.

Milosz:  “I fumed at his naïveté and his errors; I saw him as an example of all the faults peculiar to prisoners, exiles and hermits.”  M writes about Robinson Jeffers.  Going on another tangent and making it about me, I say I am another example of all the faults peculiar to prisoners, exiles and hermits..

Then read Milosz’s essay on Simone Weil.  I have tangled with Weil.  I can’t say I understand her though I find her as a figure fascinating.  She did foolish things knowingly from a superior plane of intellect.

I wonder if I have less time than I think.

The man said he was busy answering emails.  I’m never that busy.  Rarely do people send me emails.

This long flat bed truck was exiting through these parking gates which were long metal and say three inches in width.  One of the gates came down too early and hit the back of the truck, but no damage was done.
