When the great Wenchun Earthquake of ‘08 struck, my wife was on the 21st floor; when today’s Taiwan Earthquake struck, she was on the 27th floor. And so she felt them both.
I, on the other hand was on the ground floor at work and felt nothing. In ‘08, I was doing a Speaker’s Corner when she phoned me about experiencing the earthquake; Today, I was waiting to do some proctoring when I checked my WeChat.
