Someone who doesn’t seem to like Elon Musk was crowing about his anti empathy public statements. He’s talking about the suicidal empathy that the West is practicing, I replied. Oh don’t go putting words in Elon’s mouth he replied. I was steel manning his argument I said and it turned out that he had mentioned suicidal empathy
Anyway, empathy is all fine and good when used sensibly and with proper portions. Leave it to leftists, wokesters and progressives to ruin a compassionate feeling so much, to discredit it so much that one is tempted to scotch the whole concept.
