The view from the back window of my rubber room. These days, I like to stare out of the window and contemplate, but the soothing reverie is ruined by the sight of students walking to school. That is, the students who are tardy or annoying.
When I left my apartment, I took a photo of this.
This bouquet of roses has been sitting there for a couple of days now. There could be an interesting story to go with it, but I’ll never know the exact details.
As I continued on my way to work, I saw an e-biking colleague heading away from school in a hurry. I knew why the colleague was. The local government is taking an initiative, i.e. cracking down on helmets. The colleague had no helmet, but later passed me wearing one. I have seen this helmet initiative a few years ago in Wuxi. You would see twenty police types at an intersection stopping the helmet less and issuing fines.
