Joe Biden may be dead.  The rumor on X seemed plausible.

Anyway.  This is the last AKIC blog entry till the middle of August.

I post entries about my trip to Canada at my anti-blog.

Today, I get my hair cut and beard trimmed.

We’ll meet a friend in the afternoon.

This may be the last blog post from AKIC for three weeks since I won’t be in China.

If I blog in Canada, I will do it at my anti-blog

Sometimes after midnight, Tony told me about this:

This confirmed the rumor that I had heard of two days ago.  So, he has withdrawn from the campaign; he will finish out his current term.  One commentator said that this will set him free to start WW3 with Russia

Ruttabaga has endorsed Kamala.  Does this mean she is the nominee?

Yesterday, I did my last AKIC DV for a while:

Yesterday, we went to Nanchang Jie again.  Waited 45 minutes, we did, to eat at a barbecue restaurant.  I then skillfully got us out of crowded traffic conditions

I am trying to eat meals at a restaurant without looking at my phone.

Wednesday, we’ll leave early to get to the Shanghai Pudong Airport.  (It’s Monday)

Today, haircut and a beard trim.

Sunday.  Hard, for me, to believe I’m up so early.  I was up late last night making arrangements for our trip to Canada which commences on Wednesday.

I had to make arrangements to get picked up from the airport in Winnipeg.  We’ll be getting there at 1:55 AM on a Thursday morning.

My son Tony is ecstatic because my brother got tickets to see Blink 182 in Minneapolis.  They are Tony’s favorite band.

Yesterday evening, Jenny & I went to Nanchang Jie.  It was humid.  We ate at a barbecue restaurant and then quickly went home.  The food was fine,  However, a table nearby had three males take off their shirts as they ate.  It made me want to depart quickly.

 Saturday Morning.  So groggy.

Wednesday is our flight to Canada.

Packing starts today.

Watched the start of Trump’s RNC speech.  It was very emotional to watch.  Tears came to my eyes.

Biden will withdraw this weekend I read.

Yesterday, I got to episode eight of the first season of Narcos.  Two episodes to go.

Yesterday I took the metro to Ma Zhen station.  Took some good video.

I’m still alive this Friday morning.  Not to say that there is any particular reason I should be dead this morning, but I am devoid of things to blog about these days.

In less than a week, we’ll be in Canada.

I just drove Jenny to the hair salon,

It doesn’t appear likely that Jenny will get her Visa in time to go to Canada.  I wasn’t aware but the biometric collection process is not the final step in getting the Visa.  There is still the approval process.  They haven’t as yet asked her for her passport.  When they do, it’ll be a week at least.  Tony & I have tickets for the flight that leaves on the 24th.

I’ll be trying to buy myself a Fuck Trudeau t-shirt when I’m in Canada.

Waking up and feeling very groggy these days.  It is hot these days.

Yesterday, Jenny & I went to a Russian restaurant in the Hui Ju, aka Livat Mall.  It had interesting decor but I couldn’t vouch for the authenticity of the food which was filling.

What to believe about the Trump assassination attempt?  Was it absolute incompetence or Biden Regine hanky-panky?  Incompetence theory or Conspiracy theory?  That’s to what it boils down.

This morning, I walked a few laps around the track.  This afternoon, we’ll go to Jiangyin to pick up some things from the apartment there.

I got chided for sending too many stickers (gifs) on WeChat.  I deleted that contact.  I also went on a delete of contacts spree and as well decided to restrict viewing of my moments for the remainder of my contacts,.  I ain’t changing my social media ways because I think of social media as a joke.

I am up and at ‘em.  Mostly.  I feel groggy and not refreshed.  I’ve checked my X to make sure I haven’t missed any big news.

England lost to Spain, coming up short again of winning an international football competition.

did make this prediction about the Trump assassination attempt.  In a week, many will act like it never happened and the normal vitriol over President Trump and Joe Biden will continue as it always has.

A few have said that this image is significant:

My wife Jenny & I went to the nearby outlet mall to have supper.  We ate at a place called 豆花烤鱼.  If you watch tomorrow’s AKIC Daily Video, you’ll see what we ate.

Tonight was notable for our exit from the mall.  The underground parking at the mall is serpentine and tight.  Tight because of the numerous pillars.  Serpentine because one has to follow the exit signs carefully to get out.  For some reason, tonight’s exit involved a lot of tight turns and traffic jams.  It was the worse ever.

It was good to see that the Wuxi He Man Group thought Trump was legend.

This morning, I got up and took a view photo  for this blog.  I then tuned on my X app and found out that there was an assassination attempt on Trump.  I read Trump had been shot in the head.  For a few seconds, I was thinking Trump was dead,  But reading more, I saw that it wasn’t the case.  I then told my son Tony about it.

What is needed?  Prayer.

On account of the Trump assassination attempt, it is hard to stay focused.  I can’t resist the temptation to look for updates about the assassination attempt and the temptation to look for reactions to the assassination attempt.

Why should it matter to me?  I am half a world away and I got my own problems with which to desl.

Still, U.S. presidential elections are the best shoe on Earth.  2024’s is the most compelling ever,

Assassination Attempt on President Trump

 I just learned on Twitter!

I pray that he’s okay!

Anyone who thinks that this is a good thing is a moron!

Yesterday, I ended up doing something different. I came up with a fourth idea. I decided to walk on the bridge that goes over the Xi Bei Canal. I took the subway going to the bridge but then I walked all way from the bridge to the 27th floor apartment.

I then had to pick up Jenny & Tony at the train station.  Their train arrived in Wuxi at 1:00 AM!

Here is the video I took yesterday;

Not raining as per the time of this view photo.

Since the last photo. I walked to the nearby mall and then walked around the nearby track.  At the track, I took some video and prayed the Rosary.

I’ve just been informed that Jenny & Tony won’t be coming back from Shanghai till after midnight.  Tickets for earlier trains were sold out.  So, I’ll be free this evening.  I’m not sure what to do.  I have some ideas which involved taking the Metro. Idea #1:  I find a Subway sandwich shop.  Idea #2:  take the Metro to downtown.  Idea #3:  explore the area around a stop on the S1 line.  I’ll report what I did anon.

Trying to think of something to watch on our big screen TV.  I have decided to stop watching that Gentleman in Moscow series.  It was made recently with woke casting and implausible plot lines.

I’m staying in 2704, still in a state of recovery.  It doesn’t hurt to cough now, which is a sign of progress.

I’m not sure if what I am seeing: black actors in a TV series set in Moscow at the time of the Russian Revolution is a sign of progress.  It certainly is a sign of wokery, this A Gentleman in Moscow.

One wonders how black actors and actresses would be cast in a future TV series about the Hitler regime.

Yesterday, we went to the exit-entry bureau of Wuxi to get Tony an exit entry permit so he can go to Canada and come back to China.

In the evening, we booked Tony’s & my flight to Canada. (Jenny hasn’t gotten her visa yet). It was bloody expensive.

This morning, as you can see, it’s overcast and hopefully cooler than yesterday which was a scorcher, temperatures in the high thirties Celsius.

We, the three of us, took a train to Shanghai.  Strangely, an email from the Visa Application Center rendered our purpose in going to Shanghai mute, for we got an appointment in the email, but we went to the CVAC anyway as a test run and for some clarifications.  My wife Jenny has her biometric collection appointment this Friday.  The CVAC is located near Shanghai’s Nanjing Road shopping area.

So we spent the afternoon at the Nanjing road  area doing some shopping and exploring.  We ate and drank at Five Guys and Tim’s.  We visited some shops like the Air Jordan.  We took photos at the Bund.  It was a very humid and hot day so we didn’t stay in Shanghai for supper.
