I just uploaded this NGD quote video:

Only the unexpected truly satisfies.  I can agree with that completely.  Happiness derives from the word happenstance, which is why messages trying to tell us how to be happy are beside the point.

Be that as it may, I have a plan, but it is a vague plan:

— I’ll catch a bus to Jiangyin station in order to catch the train to Wuxi to get the apartment keys my son forgot.

— I’ll go to Monte Carlo’s for a farewell dinner at 4:00 PM

— I’ll take photos for a substack photo essay.

— I’ll record at least one quote video.

3:47 PM Monday View: Riding the buses.

 This afternoon, I rode four different buses in Jiangyin in order to buy bread, beer and fried peanuts.  Much of what I saw was non-descript:  recently build edifices plopped into green and dusty fields.  I did take pictures but I’ll put them in my Substack: I plan to do a photo essay about this week in Jiangyin.

I have made a more substantial plan for today.  I’ll do my Canada stuff after the invigilation.

—made coffee
