I’m back at the Jingle Jangles apartment.  Tony is asleep still.

Or is he?  Let me check…

Actually, he is awake in bed, his laptop in front of him.

There you go!  Live blogging at its absolute finest.

Any who, I just got back from church.  First time there, I was by myself.  I followed along the mass using my Universalis app, reading its order of the mass in English.  I was mostly able to follow along, reading the app when Chinese was spoken.  When communion was done, I went  in line and crossed my arms on my breast so as not to receive the wafer which I don’t have the right to consume.  During the mass, I recalled what Mother Angelica said about being in a constant conversation with Jesus. I made a vow to do this.

Below is a photo of the church.

It was taken after mass was done.

I also took a photo of the nearby landmark bridge,

Then, I drove to the 85 degree bakery at Star City Mall(?) or whatever that mall at the stadium is called.  I bought bread, donuts and these cheese cake coins which are now on sale again.  Tony likes those coins; I bought them for him. I then went to the basement grocery store hoping to find Tim Tams.  I didn’t but I did buy two packages of the original Ritz crackers which are hard to find in most grocery stores; only the sandwich Ritzs usually being available.  As soon as I publish this entry and upload my December Day greetings video, I have Ritzs with cream cheese.  Yum yum.

I drive back to the JJ apartment community and was able to find a parking spot.  I dropped off my purchases at the mall and went back to the car, with a bottle of water, to wash the bird droppings off my car.

Now, I blog.

Sunday morning.  I’ll go to church by myself.  This weekend, I’ll avoid people as much as I can.

Anyway, a nice sunrise.  I can hear birds cuckooing out my window.  Only problem with this is that the bastards shit on our car if it is parked below the trees.

Got back to the apartment late.  Tony didn’t stop playing till 9:30 PM.  When we got back to the apartment community, we couldn’t find a parking spot so we had to park outside by the small shop,

This evening, we had supper at Monte’s.  Since I was driving, I only had one beer.  We left the bistro slash bar early so I didn’t try to engage in any conversations which under the circumstances was just as well.

From Monte’s we went to the football grounds which were near the Jiangyin Stadium.  While Tony played, I had to pass the time.  I first drove to the E’bizui park entrance.  The park being closed, I drove past it and came upon a Shipyard riverside park. I took photos.

It seemed a nice enough place that, despite the beautiful lighting, was better seen in the daytime.

I got bored of driving around so I parked the car at the football grounds. I whiled away the time playing the solitaire and crossword apps on my phone.

The lasting impression of the evening was the fucking impatience of the local drivers.

I went for the walk like I said I was.  The dammdest thing was that all the photos I took were in live mode.  Fucking IOS updates!  Anyway, it was a good time for contemplation and taking photos.

Good, they are appearing in the chronological order in which I took them!

The photos above I took as I was making my way to the intersection interchange.

I couldn’t help but take photos of little details along the way.

There is garbage always strewn about the countryside.  Notice the busted toilet that was right on the side of the road.  The photo right above seems to show a subsistence farmstead.

I then passed through the intersection interchange: a mixture of tunnels and ramps and turnpikes.

Past the intersection interchange, I was in countryside.

I was hoping to take train video while out there but alas the trains all came as I was making my way back to the Jingle Jangles apartment.

I did take a photo of my miraculous medal and a possible church.

I listened to the Crow soundtrack and Billy Joe Shaver as I was walking around.  Shaver’s song I Don’t Seem to Fit Anywhere hit the spot.  The lyric about no one seeming to get his drift was poignant for me at this point in my life.  I’ll be thinking and saying a lot how people don’t get my drift.  Especially, my device zombified students.

I will just have to forgive them as I hope get try to get my drift.

I walked past a fellow toting a hoe on his shoulder.  We exchanged smiles. That was a precious moment,
