6:41 PM Saturday View: Took the Metro Downtown

 At 2:00 PM, my son Tony & I took the subway to downtown Wuxi. We took Line 1 from the nearby Yanqiao Station to San Yang Plaza Station where we transferred to Line 2 which took us to Wu’Ai station where we got off to get to the Buy Now Electronics Mall where I bought a second hand  IPad Air for about 400 RMB.  The IPad Air is bigger than my IPad Mini and thus will be better for reading.  

After buying the IPad, Tony & I ate at a nearby McDonald’s.  We had a Double Cheeseburger and a Double Gouda Burger, and the 20 Chicken McNugget special which came with four different dipping sauces.

We then took the Line 2 train from Wu’ Ai station back to San Yang Plaza where we went to the Hen Long mall, which is Wuxi’s luxury brand mall.  We wandered around to burn time.  At a Japanese supermarket, we bought a can of Guinness Stout and a can of Afri Cola and a package of very hot noodles, the hottest ever or so my son Tony says. Lots of pretty girls were shopping I noticed.

We then took the #2 train from San Yang station to Heliekou station where we transferred to line #4.  Now it just do happened that Tony & I split up there.  He took the #4 to a destination where he was to meet his friends; I took the #4 in the opposite direction to Liu Tan station  in order to transfer to Line #1 to get to Yanqiao station for a ten minute walk back here where I took the above standard view photo.
