 What do you know about that?  Twelve hours exactly from the last view.

I try to help my ESL students  with their listening.  I’ve been doing an exercise where I read “gotcha” sentences aloud to students and they have to guess the right information.

This happened today.

I read “The meeting was scheduled to start at 4:30, but was postponed to 5:00.”  Twice.

I then asked the students:  “What time did the meeting begin?”  I had it on a PPT so they could read it.

I chose a weaker student to try to answer the question.  “What time did the meeting begin?” I asked.  The student then looked at her watch..,

I should drink two Crown Royals today.
