I’ve just come back from a morning drive-and-hike with my son Tony. The excursion didn’t go off as planned, but still it went alright. We had intended to go to Xiangshan scenic spot, but it turned out that the free gratis way of getting into the park had been closed off: these walls had been erected which weren’t there when I had gone in September. And we weren’t going to risk the displeasure of Jenny by paying 60¥ a piece to enter. So, we walked around the nearby Xiangshan lake which was free and did have some nice scenery which you’ll be able to see in a the next few blog entries and on my YouTube channel.
When we walked around the Xiangshan park we saw a lot of garbage. The parks were clean and tidy which made for quite the contrast.
