Where are you from?

 Where are you from in Canada?  Someone asked me.

I replied that it was hard to say.  Everyone laughed.

I then explained that my father was in the army and that I was a base brat and so my family always were moving during my childhood.  In fact, I went to three different high schools in three different towns.

The longest I have lived anywhere in my life has been in Wuxi.

Where am I from in Canada?  Wuxi!
