Not a Maskhole

Is there anything dumber than wearing a mask to stop Covid?

Today (Sunday, May 29th), I didn’t wear a mask.  I went through checkpoints, stood on elevators and walked in public without a mask.  And I was able to find a secret way into a shopping mall and thus avoid wearing the mask, even for their checkpoint.  Wonderful!

Far too many locals, however, were wearing masks.  A lot were wearing the face diaper out of doors and while they were driving.  What a bunch of dummies!

My latest Spliced Together video is below.  Twenty One videos spliced together!

June is going to be dismal for me.  With the school year having essentially been a failure for me, it will be hard for me to appear graceful.  I am just going to have to shut up. The only way I am going to be able to keep quiet is isolate myself and pray.

Atheism

I tried to watch the Ricky Gervais SuperNature special.  He was funny till he started going on about his being an Atheist.

What’s with atheists using large numbers?  I’ve heard a couple of them say that the odds of us are existing are one in four hundred billion (eggs and sperms, the argument comes from).  And because of the large odds, there is no God.

Really?

Banished

Came upon this word in a poem I was reading.  Does it describe my current situation?

I suppose the word describes the situations of a lot of people who aren’t going along with Clown World.  But in my case, I’m banished if I do and banished if I don’t.  But there is a way out of mine situation thankfully:  the only way as I see it.

Ten Years Ago Today

My father died.

May he be in a better place.

Three Apartment Sunday

Sunday, May 22, 2022.  A day which may never ever happen again.

It was the day I visited three apartments in which I will have lived.  I was in my 19th floor Xi Shan apartment; I drove to the old (since 2008) Hui Shan apartment to move some things; and I visited the concrete shell of what will be our 27th floor apartment near the Hui Shan Sports Centre.

The visit to the new apartment can be seen in this spliced together video:

Here is the view from the living room:

Fights & Maniacs

My son got in a fight at school.  You can visit his TKIC sites for some details.

Have I mentioned that I hate Chinese drivers?  Of course. No need to go into details about the latest ice holes I at whom I swore.

Six weeks I’ll be done at my current school.  I am trying to do best by the kids, but I am going to have to be aloof from the staff because of the circumstances.

I am watching season 2 of Twin Peaks.  I find the show dated but not without its charms.  The characters are eccentric without being sexual freaks.  Many of the female characters are stunningly beautiful.

I’ll miss the 19th floor Xi Shan apartment!
