Phew! The Canucks survive!
I just got the result!
Canucks win! Canucks win!
Meanwhile, in Wuxi, a mid-day thunderstorm darkens the classrooms. The one Chinese hockey fan in Wuxi phoned me just in time for me to follow the game on the Internet!
Yes indeed! I think the Canucks will take the cup!
The Manitoba Moose -- Moose is not pluralized -- are a minor league team. They aren't in the same league as the Vancouver Canucks. The Canucks play in the NHL. The Moose play in the American Hockey League
However, if the Phoenix Coyotes return to Winnipeg, I will be a fan of the Winnipeg Jets.
Red Wings don't stand a chance. The narrative has the Canucks as this year's good guys.
Got my fingers crossed for the 'Nucks, too. It was nice they won their first game against the Predators (including former Brandon player and first Inuk in the NHL, Jordin Tootoo) but a wider margin would have been more comforting.
Are the Canucks your favourites - why not The Mooses??
ReplyDeleteAndis,
ReplyDeleteDon't count out the Detroit Red Wings yet.
